THE PROJECT

The project CLICK TEATRO – SI’ MATT consists of a system addressed to the community aimed at generating a link between theatres and retailers. With a dedicated App for Smartphone users are enabled to receive specific contents related to a certain show (i.e.: premium contents, interviews with the artists, etc.) and they will be updated about the services connected to the fruition of that show (such as: restaurants, parking, hotels, bars, etc.). This information will also be generated and managed with techniques of Augmented Reality.

It is a Living Lab: the user actively participates to the building process, to the development phase and to the test of the solutions through the exchange of ideas and know-how, and through the gathering of researchers, companies and organized groups of citizens.

The project includes the development of a mobile App (APP). The APP will be able to provide the citizen/spectator with information generated and managed with techniques of Augmented Reality. There will be a targeted communication, generated by the management of the system, or self-generated (by Artificial Intelligence systems); then, the user can browse through such information and service offerings that will be consistent with user’s specific and personal interests.

CLICK TEATRO – SI’ MATT is a set of products/services addressed to the community and aimed at generating a connection between retail businesses and theatre activities. It is known that in our culture the Theatre represents a historical pillar, both for its cultural and socio-economical value. The project entails the realization of a ICT system based on the new communicational dynamics introduced by new technologies and the most common tools of telecommunication. The idea is that every user can be reached by a targeted communication generated by the system or self-generated by an AI-based proactive system, and in turn, the user can browse through such information and service offerings related to the specific and personal interests.

The information will be generated and managed with techniques of Enhanced Reality and will increase the users level of information regarding both the actual show (premium contents, interviews, previews) and the typical services connected to the fruition of the show (such as: restaurants, parking, hotels, special agreements, etc.).

The commercial businesses involved in the project will provide, in return, the users with a bonus discount for the purchase of the ticket of the show.
For the topic treated (participatory involvement of citizens), and for the proposed solution (derived from the Web 2.0), the Living Labs approach appears ideal to fully value such a project proposal; thus, ensuring cooperation among all the stakeholders involved and interested in managing the relevant need. A further system functionality will be that of providing native data to the operators and aggregated data to all users, providing, in fact, auxiliary feedback to support the decision process both for users and commercial businesses.
